About 50 years ago we embarked on a remarkable journey with an ambitious objective: to serve Saudi Arabia's requirements of foreign manpower and thus pioneered the Kingdom’s first recruiting agency. In the following 5 years, a boom in construction activities provided an opportunity for our Remal Recruiting Agency and Remal Travels Ltd. to recruit and mobilize over 12,000 construction and port workers in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and its neighbouring GCC countries.
With the slowdown of construction in the country, we shifted our focus to maintenance services. As such in 1983 we took a step forward by acquiring the Saudi operations of a German laundry factory, as well as the Saudi Operations of two world-leading service providers, namely: Initial Saudi Arabia Ltd., (the subsidiary of a UK facilities services organization), and Duraclean Services Ltd., (the master franchise of a U.S. cleaning services company). This marked the start of further acquisitions and growth serving most sectors of the Saudi economy.
Over the following years “Initial Saudi Group” was formed through a series of additional strategic mergers and acquisitions, as we steadily expanded our service organization from a modest 250 workforce to over 27,000 workers, scaling to the group’s valuation to almost one billion riyals, by 2023.
Initial Saudi Arabia Ltd. Providing Integrated facilities management, MEP and contract cleaning serving over 1,000 clients in 26 locations throughout Saudi Arabia. Most notably the Riyadh International Airport and King Abdullah Economic City.
Work-force Saudia JSC. A wholly owned joint stock company capitalized at SAR 100 million, providing visa processing, and outsourcing of professional, skilled, and semiskilled staffing solutions.
Initial Landscaping Ltd. Providing hardscape and softscape construction and contract maintenance for several Governmental and Private sectors.
Duraclean Services Ltd. A U.S. master franchise for Saudi Arabia providing specialized cleaning for residential and commercial properties.
Initial Pest Control Co. Ltd. The result of an acquisition of Saudi Arabia’s 60-year-old pioneering pest control company, providing fumigation and pest control services.
Al Sawary Security Ltd. Provides manned security guards, crowd control, and premises surveillance solutions for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
In partnership with Mace International Group of the UK, we established MACE MACRO Saudi Arabia Ltd, and were awarded the FM consultancy project at the King Abdullah Economic City among others.
In partnership with DMG Events UK Ltd, our Mice Exhibition Ltd. hosted major exhibitions in Saudi Arabia, including the notable Big 5 Global (the largest building and construction event in the Middle East), among several other exhibitions.
In partnership with Dubai Shows Ltd of UK, we introduced The Worldwide Property Show, Dubai's pioneer real estate exhibition company showcasing the largest developer projects at the time.
In partnership with MediaCom International LLC and Danlesco, both Dubai-based companies, our Saudi Global Ltd. distributed electronic devices and content to household products across Saudi Arabia.
In partnership with ISI Advertising of Dubai, we initiated Faris Advertising & Promotions Ltd promoting advertising and Signage Services in Saudi Arabia.
Our wholly-owned Ittimad Insurance Brokerage Ltd. along with Saudi Gulf Real Estate Brokerage Ltd, provided insurance and real estate brokerage solutions in Saudi Arabia and the UAE.
During the span of five decades we had adapted to change and nurtured progress fostering meaningful collaborations. Our legacy stood as a testament to our successful achievements. Across various industries within the Kingdom we consistently added value and contributed to their advancement in the development of the region.
In line with this enduring legacy, we recently formed xlbull LLC-FZ , a management consultancy and Business Solutions provider based in the UAE. This extension of our expertise is dedicated to seizing new opportunities for businesses interested in expanding in Saudi Arabia and the U.A.E. Our focus remains on empowering enterprises to flourish in the region.
